Once upon a time there was a boy named Justin and a girl named Ang. Ang met Justin at a friends house. Justin had a black "Low rider" with flames on the side and pinkish "hammer pants". Ang was very intrigued. Ang soon realized that Justin also had a "base system" in his truck......she was in love.
You see, Ang was only fourteen and Justin sixteen, so most weekends were spent playing Nintendo and shuffling cards. Ang wasn't allowed to date, but she could have this casual relationship that most would call "puppy love". Soon though, Justin would ask Ang to go out with him, and Ang simply said, yes.
Six years later
We vowed to love, honor and respect one another. We vowed to give our lives to each other. We simply said, yes.
The kiss we shared twelve years ago meant partners for life. It meant that you only, would get these lips; you only, would share my tears and you only, would get my heart.
Who would have known a relationship built on material possessions and physical attraction would bring us this far. Who would have known nearly eighteen years later we would have stood through diversity, heartache, suffering and death. Who would have known that the gift of a child would have changed us so much.
The corner stone of our marriage would be Christ, and while we certainly have our differences, we understand the power in the builder. We understand without his foundation, our home stands weak.
Justin, you are my love, you are my life, and I respect you now more than ever. You are an incredible husband and amazing father. This is our journey, hard as it may be, it is ours. I proudly walk through it with you.
Happy Anniversary weekend!
Kiss your man today!!!! Or woman!!!!
